Privacy notice
How the Sprig Edit testing programme (run by C65 LLC on the Guinea Pig Recruiting platform) handles your data. This is the tester-recruiting notice; the Sprig Edit app itself has no account and no sync — it edits markdown files that stay on your own device.
Placeholder pending final copy. The full, layered privacy
notice is finalized from docs/legal/privacy-notice-draft.md and
must be reconciled with the real data flows before launch (Architecture §11).
The points below summarise the intended notice.
- What we collect: your email, first name, the platforms you choose, your consent records, and any feedback (with optional screenshots/logs) you send while testing.
- Why: to run a fair beta — contact you when a wave opens, get builds onto your devices, and triage your feedback. Lawful basis is your consent.
- Who sees it: C65 LLC operators, and — if you test on iPhone — Apple TestFlight as needed to deliver builds. The web and Mac channels are delivered directly by us. EU-resident sub-processors.
- Where: hosted in the EU (Cloudflare EU-pinned storage), email via Amazon SES (EU region).
- Your rights: view, export, correct, or delete everything yourself, and withdraw any consent — instantly, from Your data. Deletion cascades to the beta platforms too.
- Retention: we keep your data only as long as you're on the roster or as needed for the programme; documented retention periods apply.
